With 2016 off and running, we’ve already announced a partnership with IFTTT to enable recips via the Roost Smart Battery. And now we’ve got more great news to share on the partnership front—we’re teaming up with ADT, the leading provider of professional security for homes and businesses in the US.

Here’s the cool part. New and existing Roost Smart Battery owners will now have the option to be secured through ADT Canopy, which provides 24/7 professional monitoring and live support to aid in nearly any emergency—from intrusions or fires, to unsafe situations outside of the home.

Of course you’ll already be receiving direct alert notifications via the Roost app when your smoke alarm triggers. But now, you have the option to have your Roost-enabled smoke and CO alarms monitored by ADT. This gives you another level of home safety and peace-of-mind. How does it work? Just sign-up with ADT Canopy via the Roost mobile app, and the option will be available for a low monthly fee with no fixed long term contracts.

On vacation or away from home? ADT will respond to an alarm with both telephone verification to you, the homeowner, in addition to contacting emergency services, if needed.
